Depending on schedule constraints, Kim-Vi may occasionally accept painting commission requests from photos. Please visit the Commission page for an estimated quote and to submit your request.

Kim-Vi can paint any part of the day you’d like (ceremony kiss/exit, first dance, ect). She can also paint from a pre-existing photo of your choosing (ex. Engagement photos, ect). She will typically work from photos taken of the moment you are looking for, which allows her to set up anywhere that makes sense according to your wedding floor plan.

Kim-Vi will arrive before the start of the ceremony or reception to set-up and take a photo of the moment discussed during your consultation (ceremony kiss/exit, first dance, ect). She will continue painting from photos at the reception venue so that guests can watch the painting’s progress while enjoying the party! Her goal is to finish the painting by the end of your event. If additional work or touch-ups are still needed, Kim-Vi will take it back to the studio for some extra love and attention, before scheduling a pick-up from San Jose, CA 95121.

Kim-Vi uses Professional Artist-grade Acrylic paints. Their vibrancy and depth allow her to capture the feel and emotion of your special day. Acrylics dry quickly, which is ideal since wet paint and partying guests don’t mix well. They are also archival, meaning that the painting will last for generations to come!

Kim-Vi will typically wear a formal dress that matches your wedding’s theme. If there are special requests, she would be happy to adhere to the dress code! Kim-Vi is also fully vaccinated and will be wearing a mask.

KVT Fine Art is based in the Bay Area, but is open to travel! Please submit an inquiry with your details so we can better assist you.

Packages include travel for the first 50 miles round-trip. Events further than that will accrue $.67 per additional mile plus any necessary toll/parking fees.

Events more than 3 hours away may require coverage for round-trip air travel, 1-2 nights local hotel accommodation, and any transportation costs (ride-share or rental car).

If the painting requires post-event touch ups and the Client cannot pick-up the completed painting from San Jose, CA, all shipping costs must be covered by the client.

If Kim-Vi is attending both the ceremony and reception at two different venues within the same day, a $100 Relocation Fee will incur.
